CHUTNEY PODI OR IDLI MOLAGAI PODI WITH CORIANDER SEEDS



INGREDIENTS
  • Whole Black Gram Dal - 1 cup
  • Bengal Gram Dal - 1/2 cup 
  • Dry Red Chilli- 1 cup ( Can be adjusted as per taste)
  • Coriander seeds- 1/4 th cup
  • Salt - to taste
  • Solid asafoetida - a small piece.
  • Sesame oil - 2 tsp
METHOD

  • Heat a pan.
  • Add sesame oil into it .
  • Now add bengal gram dal into oil and fry it, until its half fried.
  • Now add remaining all other ingredients except salt.
  • Fry all ingredients till its golden brown.
  • Now remove it on a plate and allow it to get cool down.

  • Now grind coarsely all the ingredients in mixer jar adding salt into it.
  • Can be served with all variety of idli and dosai.
