- Whole Black Gram Dal - 1 cup
- Bengal Gram Dal - 1/2 cup
- Dry Red Chilli- 1 cup ( Can be adjusted as per taste)
- Coriander seeds- 1/4 th cup
- Salt - to taste
- Solid asafoetida - a small piece.
- Sesame oil - 2 tsp
METHOD
- Heat a pan.
- Add sesame oil into it .
- Now add bengal gram dal into oil and fry it, until its half fried.
- Now add remaining all other ingredients except salt.
- Fry all ingredients till its golden brown.
- Now remove it on a plate and allow it to get cool down.
- Now grind coarsely all the ingredients in mixer jar adding salt into it.
- Can be served with all variety of idli and dosai.
